I'm not too keen on revamps of actual sets, but I must say, I quite like it. I like how it has a certain flow to it's armor, and I like what you've done for the feet; rather than being your conventional foot, it's more abstract and personal. And it certainly looks better than the set!
My only concern is how bulky the top of the legs are. If they're slimmed a bit I think, in my opinion, that it'd look better.

Very good, I like everything about this MOC, how it seems more robotic or 'mecha' than the original set, with all the tubes connecting all the different parts, a really good feature. I especially like the legs, how there are no actual 'feet', and the amount of detail with the use of parts. Some true creativity here. A really great MOC, well done, after seeing your gallery, definitely one of your the best.
"They claimed to enforce the law, but instead Matoran are disappearing." Line from a Bionicle commercial, featuring the Vahki.
I am really surprised I haven't seen this sooner. I really like the build. The color scheme is consistent throughout. I'd love to know where you found orange tubes like that, I've been looking for those. The blue and orange of this set have always stood out to me, caught the eye.. wish I'd picked one up when I had the chance.
I like that most of the parts on the body are from the Metru-era and before, makes it feel it did come from that time in the Bionicle story. I'm not surprised that the blades are different- the old parts were really hard to handle, and to find different uses for. Considering that the Bordakh were the only Vahki able to go underwater, I do like the sleek look of the blades. I was surprised by the feet, but they work, and their color matches the original set's foot color, and I really like that.
It does really look like the law-enforcement machines I was so used to seeing, but with a sturdier looking build, and definitely a lot more orange- I like that a lot.
